Spotted dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico

This picture was taken in early spring in the Gulf Of Mexico around 7 am when the sun was up good. All of the spotted dolphins I encounter are in the Gulf of Mexico in the colder months and they do not come into Choctawhatchee Bay like the Gray Bottle Nose Dolphins.
They are very playful and hang around the boat for a while each time I find them. They are always in groups, never alone. This particular picture has an adult with its calf in tow the little ones are fun to watch they do not know how to roll there backs to get a breath of air so they shoot out of the water head first get a breath and plop down. It is a sight to see an to witness it first hand it is a memory you will never forget.
